Google Wave Robot for JIRA (Alpha)
This is still a work in progress, but we’ve decided to show you where we are.
Any suggestions are welcome Wave conversation about robot
The robot-for-jira@appspot.com robot can:
- parse the Issue key from the text
- replace the Issue key with a gadget
- load Issue information to that gadget
- works for any JIRA that is available on the internet (robot asks for credentials if needed, but they are not stored in any DB or logs)
- for now some actions are valid only for default workflow
- for now no realtime synchronization (when data on JIRA changes)
How to use it?
- Create a new wave with the robot-for-jira@appspot.com
- Write some text and include in it a jira key that exists in a public JIRA
- If asked, provide URL to your JIRA and credentials
- Submit the blip and watch it happen
